Dedication of John B. Scott Hiking Trail at Yates Lake/Forever Wild Property

The Cherokee Ridge Alpine Trail Association passed a resolution on March 16, 2016 to name a major trail on the Yates/Forever Wild property in honor of John B. Scott.  John has been an influential and active voice in Alabama for many conservation causes.  The trail was dedicated on March 15, 2018, by then CRATA President Jerry Bynum and Jimmy Lanier.
